ABOUT THIS BREWERY
Established in 1810 by King Friedrich August I (King of Saxony), the Eibau brewery was the first country brewery in the Zittau area. Gaining notority first for their traditional Black beer or Schwarzbier that remains a staple.

Beers are monitored during the entire production process, with regular checks at each step of the brewing process. BEER TYPE INFORMATIONA darker and just as evervescent as the light Weizen version of the style. With spicy cloves, mild hops and a malty finish. Although originally popular in Eastern Bavaria, the style is seen in many German beer brewing cities.
