Appearance

Mohagony in color with an ivory foam promising of a flavorful brew.

Taste

A chestnut brown dark lager with dense carbonation. An aromatic profile with a blend of coffee, sweet caramel and brioche with a subtle hop bitterness on the finale.

AROMA

Roasted malts, a hint of chocolate with a velvety texture coming together for with an overall richness on the nose.

ABOUT THIS BREWERY

Established in 1810 by King Friedrich August I (King of Saxony), the Eibau brewery was the first country brewery in the Zittau area. Gaining notority first for their traditional Black beer that remains a staple.
